Chickens—Regulations for Keeping in the City of Tucson
Chickens can be kept in Tucson but there are regulations that you must follow.
These are the regulations, as of 2009:
- There can be no more than 24 chickens.
- No roosters are allowed. It is unlawful to keep, house or feed any male fowl in Tucson.
- Chicken coops must be at least 50 feet away from neighbor dwellings.
- Coops must be kept in sanitary and clean condition.
