Who We Are

We are an active organization that supports the Caviglia-Arivaca Library by fostering closer relations between the library and the community, raising money to improve library services, and supporting projects and local activities.

Annual memberships are $15 for individuals and/or families.

Activities and Support

Book sales
Stipends for monthly adult program presenters and children's Summer Reading Club programs
Scholarship and gift each year for Arivaca students graduating from high school
Maintain the grounds of the Arivaca Library outside the courtyard
Co-host children's party in February
Kick off and end of Summer Reading parties
Celebrate with the Friends' Holiday Tea in December
Purchase items beyond the budget of the Caviglia-Arivaca Branch Library
Host a Southern Arizona author during the September annual meeting
Co-sponsor the oral history book project, Finding Arivaca
Provide two sandstone tables for picnicking behind the Library in memory of Joan Shelton
Plant trees in memory of other family and friends
