Science Saturdays!

Join us the first Saturday of each month for a free science program! This is a fun, interactive science-oriented program for all ages. With a different topic every month, you’re sure to find something you’ll love.

Zoo to You! Experience the wonder of the animal kingdom with live ambassadors from Reid Park Zoo. Discover what makes each animal special and how it survives in the wild. You may even have the opportunity to touch! Program animals will be determined on health and handling records, but will include several of the following: bearded dragon, savanna monitor lizard, ball python, corn snake, trans-pecos rat snake, Australian blue-tongued skink, tortoise, hedgehog, guinea pig, rabbit or chicken. Space is limited. Tickets will be available 1 hour before event.
