Contemporary Literature Book Club

The Contemporary Literature Book Club is a friendly and informal group. New participants are always welcome! The group reads current literary fiction, including many Pulitzer Prize winners. Titles are selected based on group suggestions and availability through the library. All meetings are held on the second Thursday at 10 a.m. unless otherwise indicated.

This month's selection is Mark Twain: Man in White: The Grand Adventure of His Final Years by Michael Shelden.

Poetry Encounter - Celebrating National Poetry Month

Robert Frost was in Tucson fifty-four years ago to dedicate the UA Poetry Center and to celebrate the rich writing tradition in our community. UA Poetry Center Docents, Barb Sherman, Susan St Pierre and Phillip Woodall will present and share the joy of poetry with selections of poems by Robert Frost.
Attendees may bring a favorite Robert Frost poem to read and discuss with the group.
