Our computer instructor is available to answer any questions you might have on a wide variety of computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online job searching, email accounts, Internet searching and more. Signup is not required.

Toddler Storytime

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Main Library Book Club

This discussion group for men and women will share insights into a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books. Adults and teens welcome to participate.

Additional information: For those attending the book club a two-hour free parking validation is available for the garage directly below the library. All are invited to bring their lunches for this free program.

We will discuss this months reading selection, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.

Her name was Henrietta Lacks, but scientists know her as HeLa. She was a poor Southern tobacco farmer, yet her cells--taken without her knowledge--became one of the most important tools in medicine. The first "immortal" human cells grown in culture, they are still alive today, though she has been dead for more than sixty years. Designed for babies up to 18 months of age. At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning.

Homework Help

Free tutoring is available on site for all ages. Subjects include math, science, social studies and writing.
