Our computer instructor is available to answer any questions you might have on a wide variety of computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online job searching, email accounts, Internet searching and more. Signup is not required.

Individual Job Counseling

A job counselor from Career Services Unlimited will provide free, one-on-one career counseling on topics including resume writing, choosing a career, updating your interviewing, networking and job search skills, and more.

Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is necessary, but sessions are limited to 30 minutes. For more information, please call Infoline at 791-4010.

Reading Partners

Reading Partners brings adult volunteers and children together to share their love of reading. Our trained Reading Partner Anita takes joy in reading stories one-on-one to your child during your visit to the library. They also welcome your child reading to them.

Reading Partners is generously supported by the Friends of the Pima County Public Library.

Homework Help

Free tutoring is available on site for all ages. Subjects include math, science, social studies and writing.

Also available: Connect to online Homework Help (2–11 pm every day except major holidays).

Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Learn Python

CreateIT - Think IT. Make IT. Do IT. New technology and media classes for teens.

We will begin phase II of our Python class after school on Wednesday, October 17, and it will continue on the 24, 31, ending on November 7, 2012.This four-week class is designed to allow new students to join, while challenging those who were in our first Python class. It is taught in partnership with the UA Computer Science Department. Join us and make your own games!

Artist Reception

Please join us for an artist reception for Mel Dominguez.

Dominguez's paintings are inspired by people, music and stories. The exhibit will run November 1 – 30 2012.

Toddler Storytime

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Babytime

Designed for babies up to 18 months of age. At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning.

Seed Library at the Santa Cruz River Farmers' Market

Visit the Seed Library at the Santa Cruz Farmers' Market, 100 S. Avenida del Convento on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
