Learn the mouse, keyboard, buttons, scrollbars; how to open, navigate, and close programs; and gain an understanding of computer terms. Then learn how to surf the Internet, the basics of Microsoft Word, and how to create an email account.

Introduction to Microsoft Word

In this course, you will learn valuable word processing skills like creating, saving and retrieving documents; inserting and deleting text; formatting text; and use cut, copy, and paste. Before you take this course, you should have some experience with the computer and the Windows operating system.

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. tories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Want Internet access on the go? Wi-Fi is the wireless Internet connection available at many coffee shops, libraries and airports. You can also set up a Wi-Fi system at home. In this course, you will learn all about Wi-Fi, where and how to get it and important safety precautions you need to know. (Optional: If you have a laptop computer or cell phone with Wi-Fi Internet access, you can bring it to class.)
