Wellness on the Web

This short, hands-on computer class will help you go online to find resources and information on health-related issues. You will get to explore many health-related websites recommended by OASIS. You will also learn to evaluate the reliability of websites dealing with health topics.

Meet the Computer

Never tried a computer before? In this course you will get to meet the computer, the keyboard and the mouse, and you will learn what they are and how to use them. No experience is necessary for you to take this relaxed, fun class. Note: If you have never used a computer before, this is an excellent class to take before Introduction to Computers.

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

Babytime

Designed for babies up to 18 months of age. At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning.

Toddler Storytime

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. tories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.
Hora de Cuentos de Niños. Esta Hora de Cuentos es diseñada para los niños de 18-36 meses de edad, y corre por 20-30 minutos. Este programa es presentado en inglés.

Introduction to Microsoft Word

In this course you will learn valuable word processing skills like creating, saving and retrieving documents; inserting and deleting text; formatting text; and using cut, copy and paste. Before you take this course, you should have some experience with the computer and the Windows operating system.

Stay and Play

Learn how playing with your child can promote healthy cognitive and emotional development. Our playgroup includes songs, games and play that promote language acquisition, social/emotional skills, motor skills, and intellectual growth. Children ages 8 months to 4 years and their parents or caregivers are invited to come play! A certified child development specialist from The Parent Connection will be available to answer questions.
