Laptops for Job Seekers Laptops are available by request for filling out online applications and/or creating resumes. Job Seeker laptops have no time limit and are first come, first served. Inquire at the customer service desk.

We are designating a Quiet Zone for those customers who would like an area where they can have a peaceful place for study, contemplation, reflection, productive thinking or to just read, with minimal disturbances.

Family Holiday Crafts

Explore creative story telling by making your own handmade cards or artist books. These hand made books will include accordion, popup and simple book forms using drawing, painting and collage.
This is a six-week workshop presented by the Drawing Studio.

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

ReadStrong: Level Up Your Reading @ Your Library

Drop-in on a ReadStrong session to level up your reading skills. Students in grades 4-12 and adults are welcome to attend these free sessions where the focus is on improving reading skills and reading for fun. Each session will be facilitated by a specially-trained tutor who will help developing readers to build confidence and get motivated all while in a relaxed setting.

Artist Reception

Please join us for an artist reception for Jennifer Carr. The exhibit, Shows My Beautiful World, includes works in oil, watercolor, pastel, pen and ink, and colored pencil will be on display November 1 – 30.

Storyteller Gourd Craft

Presented by Vivian Enos.
Miniature bottle neck gourds are painted with a face and hair. A dress will be beaded onto this figurine using the circular net style.

Need a job but not sure how to start or what to do? Join us this fall for our new job help program for young adults, ages 15-24!

There will be personal help to create resumes & fill out applications as well as special programs to help prepare you for your job hunt & resources for finding jobs.
