Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint is a software program for creating and showing presentations that include slides, outlines, speaker's notes and audience handouts. In this course designed for beginners, you will learn the fundamentals of PowerPoint. Practice using text, pictures and clip art, and then edit your presentation to make it look professional. General knowledge of the Windows operating system and some knowledge of Microsoft Word are recommended prerequisites.

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Presented by docents of the University of Arizona Museum of Art, in partnership with the Pima County Public Library, join us every 2nd Tuesday of the month for illustrated art talks on a variety of topics.

Maynard Dixon: An Artist's Love for the Southwest
Maynard Dixon, Tucson's most famous artist, fell in love with the "old pueblo." He lived in Tucson for many years and traveled across the Southwest. Come explore examples of his artwork from the University of Arizona Museum of Art's permanent collection. Presented by Jacquelyn Feller.

Science Saturday: Bats of Arizona

Presented by Colossal Cave Mountain Park.
Learn about these most interesting mammals, particularly those found in Arizona. Hands-on examples and activities.
