Art in the Afternoon

Presented by the docents of the Tucson Museum of Art, in partnership with Pima County Public Library, join us every 4th Tuesday for monthly illustrated art talks on a variety of topics.

Who Dunnit? How Art Detectives Find Forgeries, Missing and Hidden Art - Discover how a modern Sherlock Holmes of the art world uses new technology and the surprising motivations of art criminals to recover stolen art, determine authenticity, and find what lies beneath a masterpiece.

Amphi Neighborhood Action Mural Workshop

Bring your neighborhood to life! This mural will be designed and painted by a group of youth who will interview residents and dream up a design that will inspire people for generations to come. The mural will be painted on the north side of the Woods Library, becoming a community cultural landmark.
