Learn how to make flower essences as a way to bottle some of the energy of favorite flowers and have access to them at any time. We値l go through most of the steps using plants at the library, and you値l leave with a handout to guide you in making your own at home. Backyard Beekeeping

Find out what all the buzz is about! Join Linda McKittrick, Tucson beekeeper, gardener, and artist, for a discussion of the art of backyard beekeeping.

Sharing her tools of the trade, Linda provides insight into bees as an integral part our gardens, our food systems, and seed saving. We will discuss current threats to bee populations, how to begin keeping a hive in your own yard, and how keeping a hive can strengthen honeybees, your garden, seed yields, as well as your own life.
