Social networking online is communicating electronically with people who share common interests. There are many methods of social networking online. In this class, we will focus on chatting, blogging, and participating in a social networking community. We will also discuss common sense and safety online.

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Nunchaku Skills for Teens
Like martial arts? Ever wanted to learn how to use nunchaku like a martial arts master? A-Long's Kung Fu Academy will be presenting Nunchaku Skills for Teens this summer!
This fun workshop teaches participants various techniques, spins and rotations while increasing your coordination, focus and body mechanics.
Foam nunchaku are provided for classroom use.

Reptiles of Southern Arizona
Presented by Colossal Cave Mountain Park.
Learn about some of the more common and interesting reptiles in Southern Arizona, and how they are often misunderstood. Live animals will be present seasonally.
Space is limited. Arrive early to ensure a seat. Get your free ticket at the service desk 30 minutes prior to program start. This program targets kids aged 5-12. All others welcome, space permitting.

Read to a Dog
Hey kids! Read to one of the dogs and have fun while improving your reading skills! Therapy dogs love to have books read to them. They never criticize your reading skills and will often lick your hand to show appreciation. They just love to be read to by children.
