Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

Senior Dominoes / Mexican Train

Seniors get together on the 4th Tuesday of the Month to play dominoes. Come join in the fun, its easy to learn.

Babytime

Designed for babies up to 18 months of age. At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning.

One-on-One Computer Help

Free weekly one-hour individualized basic computer tutoring in the following areas: using the mouse, internet use, Email, iPad & eReaders, Microsoft Office and Library catalog and online resources. Registration is required!

Resume Assistance & Computer Help

Need Help in updating your resume, cover letter, conducting an online job search, completeing an online application and help with all computer related topics such as email, internet, and Microsoft Word use. Our computer instructors are available to help. (Bilingual English and Spanish)
Sign up is required for a 1-hour one-on-one session; stop in or call 594-5200.

Read To a Dog!

Come and read for fun to a licensed therapy dog.

The dog creates a very low stress environment for children who are learning or having difficulties learning to read. As the child reads aloud, the dog listens and enjoys the story and never corrects the child.

The dog just loves what the child is doing! A loving, low-stress time for children to read is often extremely helpful in learning to read.

Toddler Storytime

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Exploring Collage

Presented by the Children's Museum Tucson.
We'll hear a story and make a collage. You'll spark your imagination!

Space is limited, registration is required. Registration begins on June 12th. Sign up in the library or call 520-594-5200.

Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.
