Social Media Strategies for Nonprofits

Friday, November 16, 2012 9:30am - 12:00pm

Social Media has fundamentally altered how people interact, share, discuss and promote ideas, organizations and social causes. Every nonprofit should be using social media to raise critical funding and achieve the organizational mission. But how do you start?

In this workshop, you’ll learn:
-How social media sites work
-How social media differs from traditional media
-Strategies to make the most of your social media presence on the major channels
-Who should manage these programs
-How much time it will take
-When to hire someone
-How to measure impact
By the end of this workshop, you will be ready to make social media work more effectively for your non-profit.

Presented by Tony Ford.
Mr. Ford is the co-founder and COO of ArtFire.com. He leads operations, marketing, social media and development teams for ArtFire, and serves as principle consultant for several additional software and advertising firms.
