Increasing Donations with Direct Mail
Friday, October 19, 2012 9:30am - 11:30am
Think Direct Mail is a dinosaur? Think again.
Traditional mail is still the leading source for requesting and receiving donations. According to a report by Convio, 49% of donation requests are sent and 43% of donations are received via traditional mail. Learn how to receive nonprofit discounts from the USPS, identify different types of mailing categories and how they impact postage rates, discuss strategies for donation generation and discover ways to collaborate with other organizations, schools and businesses. Special emphasis will be given on increasing Arizona Tax Credit Donations (K-12 schools and nonprofits eligible for the Working Poor Tax Credit).
