At this drop-in class get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with their Adult Education Certifications, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes, which are held three days a week. Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8. Registration is not required.

Read to a Dog

Read for fun to Maddie, a gentle, licensed therapy dog who visits with her owner, Gloria. Therapy dogs love to have books read to them. They never criticize your reading skills and will often lick your hand to show appreciation. They just love to be read to by children.

Free Citizenship Classes / Clases de Ciudadania Gratis

Now is the time to realize your dream of becoming a United States citizen. Come to this free Citizenship Class offered by Pima Community College Adult Education. This class provides opportunities to learn about U.S. government and U.S. history and to improve your English language skills, while preparing for the Citizenship Exam. Individuals can register and start attending at any time during the session. Classes begin September 9. Call 594-5265 for more information.
