Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer peroid of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Middle school students, you are invited to join the S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N.S. (The Super-Cool, Organized, Respected, Popular Individuals Offering Neighborly Service) at the Quincie Douglas Branch Library. We meet to have fun, offer service to the library and our community, and learn how to be the best leaders we can be.

Babytime + Toddler Storytime

At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning. Our combination Babytime + Toddler Storytime is designed for babies up to 18 months of age and infants and children up to 36-months-old. Parents, caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Bilingual Family Storytime - Hora de Cuentos

Bilingual Storytime is presented in various languages and English. It is an excellent experience in both languages for monolingual and bilingual children.

En la hora de cuentos los niños tendrán la oportunidad de realizar actividades que promueven el desarrollo y el aprendizaje. Leen, cantan y hacen un arte para llevar a casa. Es gratis.

Hora de Cuentos es un servicio gratis proveído por la Biblioteca Pública del Condado Pima. Es una oportunidad para que padres de familia introduzcan a sus niños a la lectura y el lenguaje enuna manera divertida. Todos los programas están diseñados para que los padres de familia participen con sus niños. Arreglos para visitas a la escuela, guardería u otros grupos necesitan hacerse con anticipo.

Needleworkers Unite

Join us every other Saturday for a relaxed knitting & crocheting club. Learn new skills and techniques. Bring something you've finished or are working on to share with others. Formal instruction is not provided but mentoring and guidance is available. All ages and all levels are welcome.
