Presenter: The Parent Connection
Learn how playing with your child can promote healthy cognitive and emotional development. Our playgroup includes songs, games and play that promote language acquisition, social/emotional skills, motor skills, and intellectual growth.

Reading Partners is generously supported by the Friends of the Pima County Public Library.

Weed & Seed Parenting Program

Parenting information and networking classes are open and offered to support all parents living in the area. Parents interested in the emotional and physical development of their children and who have a desire to improve their parenting skills are welcome to attend.

Parents may not bring their children to these classes, but may call Elder Rick Stephenson, with the Living Waters Ministry, 514-9500, to arrange childcare.

These parenting classes are funded by the 29th Street Coalition/Weed and Seed.

Community meeting. This is not a library-sponsored event.

Teen Study Hall

Looking for some extra computer time to finish that assignment that's due tomorrow? How about a quiet place to read and study? Or do you need help with that looming research paper? Come check out Teen Study Hall, open to ages 12-19.

Family Storytime

Family Storytime is for all ages. It is an opportunity for parents to introduce their children to reading and language in a fun way.

Computer Class-Drop in Computer & Job Help

Our computer instructor is available to answer any questions you might have on a wide variety of computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online job searching, email accounts, Internet searching and more. Signup is not required.

Computer Class-Getting the Most Out of the Internet

Hone your Internet searching skills and do more with email. Shop online securely and participate in online communities through message boards and chat rooms. Prerequisite: Mouse and keyboarding skills, or completion of the Computer Basics class.
