Introduction to Microsoft Word

In this course you will learn valuable word processing skills like creating, saving and retrieving documents; inserting and deleting text; formatting text; and using cut, copy and paste.

Before you take this course, you should have some experience with the computer (including mouse and keyboarding skills) and the Windows operating system.

Seating is limited. Registration is required. This is a 2-part series. Students must attend the first session to attend subsequent sessions. Please stop by Eckstrom-Columbus Library or call 520-594-5285 to register. Session 2 of 2 in a 2-part series.

Paint is a simple graphic painting program that has been included with all versions of Microsoft Windows. This application introduced many to painting on a computer for the first time. This program is very easy to use. No artistic skills are required for this course.

Network with Southern Arizona's community builders and learn about local resources to strengthen your nonprofit.

  • ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Innovation
  • Community Foundation for Southern Arizona
  • Social Venture Partners Tucson
  • United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona
  • Women's Foundation of Southern Arizona

Each organization's representative will have 10-15 minutes to talk about their programs and services that support the nonprofit community, with a Q&A after the presentations.

Animals come in all sorts of colors or have patterns and shapes that attract attention or may help them blend into their surroundings. Learn how camouflage plays a role in animal survival.
