Animal Diversity

Presented by the International Wildlife Museum.
Meet a representative of each of six different animal groups. Learn the characteristics that define each group and make them unique.

Space is limited. Get your free ticket to this event at the service desk half an hour prior to the program start. Target audience is kids aged 6-12 years old. All other welcome, space permitting.

Presented by Colossal Cave Mountain Park.
This fun (and edible) program uses Big Hunk candy bars to teach geology and the physical forces affecting it. Totally edible and really messy, but lots of fun!

Program animals will be determined on health and handling records, but will include several of the following: bearded dragon, savanna monitor lizard, ball python, corn snake, trans-pecos rat snake, Australian blue-tongued skink, tortoise, hedgehog, guinea pig, rabbit or chicken.

Photo Editing Online

Learn how to use a basic and free photo editor online to polish your digital photos. Mouse skills (pointing, clicking, and dragging) and keyboard experience or completion of the Computer Basics class required.

iTNation Digital Media classes are for all ages! Each week stretch your creativity and learn a fun digital media skill. You may sign up for each class individually or enroll in the entire 5 week series. Classes are taught by high school students who have successfully completed at least 24 hours of training.

Teen Volunteer Training

Be a Summer Reading Program Volunteer at the Miller-Golf Links Library. Register at the library or call 594-5355. Pick up a volunteer application at the library and bring the completed application with you to the training session. You will learn how to do all things Summer Reading. Refreshments will be served.
