Origami Cranes
In Japanese culture, paper cranes represent happiness, longevity, and eternal youth because of its life span of a thousand years. They also stand for peace and healing. Come join the Pima County Public Libraries as we make 1,000 paper cranes to send to the C.H. Booth Public Library in Newtown, CT. Drop-in crane-making is also available at Murphy-Wilmot and Main Library.
