Learn the mouse, keyboard, buttons, scrollbars; how to open, navigate, and close programs; and gain an understanding of computer terms. Then learn how to surf the Internet, the basics of Microsoft Word, and how to create an email account.

Introduction to Microsoft Word
In this course, you will learn valuable word processing skills like creating, saving and retrieving documents; inserting and deleting text; formatting text; and use cut, copy, and paste. Before you take this course, you should have some experience with the computer and the Windows operating system.

Organizing & Editing Your Digital Photographs
Learn how to organize and edit your digital photographs using Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Connections stock photos will be provided. You may also bring your own photos on a flash drive if you wish.

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring
At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.
Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

Learn how playing with your child can promote healthy cognitive and emotional development. Our playgroup includes songs, games and play that promote language acquisition, social/emotional skills, motor skills, and intellectual growth.
