Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

ReadStrong: Level Up Your Reading @ Your Library

Drop-in on a ReadStrong session to level up your reading skills. Students in grades 4-12 and adults are welcome to attend these free sessions where the focus is on improving reading skills and reading for fun. Each session will be facilitated by a specially-trained tutor who will help developing readers to build confidence and get motivated all while in a relaxed setting.

FOUND Magazine 10th Anniversary Tour

The FOUND show is a rowdy reading-and-music performance, full of heartbreak and humor. Davy Rothbart shares his favorite found notes from the magazine as well as essays from his new book My Heart is an Idiot. His brother Peter Rothbart plays songs based on finds, including selections from his new CD. They will also be performing the evening before at Hotel Congress.
