Educator In-Service for Science Teachers on Library Resources for Grades 6-12

Science teachers! Looking to fill those continuing education credits? Your local public library is offering free classes on the resources the library offers for schools, students, and teachers.

All classes will tie into your state standards, and teacher and librarians will have opportunities to network and gain contacts.

Ready to Read: A Free Workshop for Childcare Providers and Educators

At this Pima County Public Library sponsored workshop you'll learn about infant brain development, why language and reading are so important for babies, and what you can do to prepare children for reading success.

Certificates will be awarded for 5 hours of early education credits and free children's books will be available to those attending the full session. Refreshments will be served.
