Columbus Library will have a computer instructor available to answer questions about e-readers. If someone is having trouble using their e-reader or Overdrive (the library's electronic materials system), the computer instructor will work through the problem with the patron.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel

This course teaches Microsoft Excel basics. Excel is a spreadsheet program that helps you manage mathematical information. It is frequently used in today’s workplace. Once you begin to understand the basics, you will find it is an easy and fun application to use. For example, you can use Excel to budget your personal finances and keep track of your investments. You can also use Excel to follow loan repayments, compare different mortgages, create invoices and more.

Prior experience with the computer and an understanding of the Windows operating system is recommended.

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.
