Introduction to Digital Photography

Tired of having film developed? Want to share photos electronically via email and the Internet? Considering buying a digital camera?
In this course you will learn about the advantages of digital photography and the equipment and features you need to know about when buying a digital camera. You will also get a brief introduction to software and websites for organizing, editing and sharing digital photos.

Reading Partners brings together teen and adult volunteers with children of all ages to share their love of reading. Quiet Zone / La Zona de Silencio

We are designating a Quiet Zone for those customers who would like an area where they can have a peaceful place for study, contemplation, reflection, productive thinking or to just read, with minimal disturbances.

Drop-in Learning Lab

At this drop-in session for all ages, get one-on-one assistance on any topic: Homework Help, GED study, basic job preparation, eReaders, or general computer help…all at your own pace.

Also available: Connect to online Homework Help (2–11 pm every day except major holidays) or GED and other test practice online.

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

Chess Club

Join us every Sunday in June to play chess and meet some friends. All ages and levels welcome! No experience necessary. Learn how to play chess or how to improve your game. Chessboards will be provided.

Drop-in Job Help

Our computer instructor is available to answer questions you might have on a wide variety of computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online job searching, email accounts, Internet searching and more.
