What's a Reading Partner?
Reading Partners brings together teen and adult volunteers with children of all ages to share their love of reading. Our trained volunteer Reading Partners take joy in reading stories to your child during your visit to the library. They also welcome your child reading to them. More about Reading Parnters.

Learn about the parts of the computer, how to turn the computer on and off, how to use the keyboard and mouse, about the desktop, how to open, close, and resize windows, and how to work with multiple windows.

Lego Club

Hey kids, do you love building things with Legos? If you do, join our Lego Club at the Kirk-Bear Canyon Public Library. We supply the Legos and you supply the imagination. The Lego Club is open for all ages. No registration is required.

Digital Photography

This course will introduce you to the vocabulary, concepts, and equipment you need to be a digital photographer. Prerequisite: Mouse and keyboard skills, or completion of the Get Started with the Computer class.

Learn how to upload photographs to your computer, how to organize, edit, print and email digital photos.

Omnivorous Readers

Sahuarita's Adult Book Club, the Omnivorous Readers, will feast on a mix of contemporary literature, both fiction and non-fiction to nourish the mind, heart, and soul. The group meets the third Saturday of the month for friendly, supportive discussions led by local author Maurynne Maxwell.

Need help writting a resume, cover letter or internet job search. Our instructor can help you with all of your job search needs.

Our Job Help Hub Instructor is available to answer questions on a wide variety of job-seeking and computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online job searches and applications, e-mail accounts, interviewing, and more.

An individual can sign up for a ½-hour one-on-one session during drop-in job help; stop in or call the library at 520-594-5255 for more information.

Knit in Public Day!

Are you a knitter (or crocheter)? Join us as we knit with hundreds of other knitters around the world on the same day! Never knitted but want to give it a try? You'll get a chance to learn from experienced knitters. Limited quantities of yarn and knitting needles will be available to beginners interested in learning.

World Wide Knit in Public Day was created in 2005 - and is the worlds largest knitter event.
