Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft PowerPoint is a software program for creating and showing presentations that include slides, outlines, speaker's notes and audience handouts. In this course designed for beginners, you will learn the fundamentals of PowerPoint. Practice using text, pictures and clip art, and then edit your presentation to make it look professional.
General knowledge of the Windows operating system and some knowledge of Microsoft Word are recommended prerequisites.

Advanced Video Production with Pan Left Production
CreateIT - Think it. Make it. Do it. New technology and media classes for teens.
Teens will write and produce an advocate video for the library. The class runs for two weeks, every day, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., June 4-8 and June 11-15. Participants must also be available for two Sundays of filming, June 17 and 24.
Funding for CreateIT is through a grant from the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records Agency under the Library Services and Technology Act, which is administered by the Institute for Museum and Library Services.

Find out what you need to do to obtain federal grants for your nonprofit organization. A tour of Grants.gov will also show you how to locate federal opportunities and apply for funding. GED Prep
Free GED Preparation and Tutoring
At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.
Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.
