Bookbike Volunteer Orientation

Do you love books and bikes? If so, you can combine these two passions by becoming a volunteer for the Pima County Public Library's Bookbike - a three-wheeled non-motorized bookmobile project!

Please fill out a this volunteer application and bring it with you to the training.

We are designating a Quiet Zone for those customers who would like an area where they can have a peaceful place for study, contemplation, reflection, productive thinking or to just read, with minimal disturbances.

The Friends of the Pima County Public Library's book sale at the Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Library, offering a wide selection of titles. Browse popular nonfiction subjects, interesting children's materials, CDs, DVDs, and other items at bargain prices.

Lego Club

Hey kids, do you love building things with Legos? If you do, join our Lego Club at the Kirk-Bear Canyon Library. We supply the Legos and you supply the imagination.

The Lego Club is open for all ages. No registration is required.

Homework Help

Free tutoring is available on site for all ages. Subjects include math, science, social studies and writing.

Build Your Own Container Garden

Presented by Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
Build a self-watering container garden in this hands-on workshop.

ReadStrong: Level Up Your Reading @ Your Library

Drop-in on a ReadStrong session to level up your reading skills. Students in grades 4-12 and adults are welcome to attend these free sessions where the focus is on improving reading skills and reading for fun. Each session will be facilitated by a specially-trained tutor who will help developing readers to build confidence and get motivated all while in a relaxed setting.

Science Saturdays!

Join us the first Saturday of each month for a free science program! This is a fun, interactive science-oriented program for all ages. With a different topic every month, you’re sure to find something you’ll love.

Awesome Air Stomp Rockets

Come join us for a presentation, demonstration, and a FUN stomp rocket activity. Learn about air pollution; how it affects us and how we can keep our air clean. Make your very own stomp rockets and use the power of air to launch rockets!

Join us every Saturday for teen-centered activities - games, snacks, art, manga, computers, and more.

Game Day! What'll it be? Wii, PS3,puzzles, Zombie Dice, Banana Grams? Something tried and true or something new? Bring a friend, find a friend, and join us for games and snacks.

TeenZone Movie & Popcorn

Teens, come to the TeenZone and relax in the comfy loungers for the featured movie. To make it complete popcorn will be provided.
