Awesome Air and Stomp Rockets

Through a short lecture/discussion, demonstration, and a fun stomp rocket activity, participants will learn about the air pollutants of concern in the Tucson area, where pollution comes from, how breathing air pollution may affect our health, and what we can do to keep the air and environment clean. Props such as healthy and simulated unhealthy pig’s lungs may be used.

Participants will be guided in making their very own stomp rockets, and with stomp rocket assemblies, use the power of air to launch rockets for the remainder of the presentation.
