Learn the mouse, keyboard, buttons, scrollbars; how to open, navigate, and close programs; and gain an understanding of computer terms. Then learn how to surf the Internet, the basics of Microsoft Word, and how to create an email account.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel

Excel is a spreadsheet program that helps you manage mathematical information. You can use Excel to budget your personal finances and keep track of your investments. You can also use Excel to follow loan repayments, compare different mortgages, create invoices and more. Prior experience with the computer and an understanding of the Windows operating system is recommended.

AARP Tax-Aide Tax Preparation / Ayuda Gratis con la Preparacion de los impuestos

Free, volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance serving low- and middle-income taxpayers with special attention to those ages 60 and older. This service is provided by the AARP (American Association of Retired Persons).

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

Martha Cooper Branch Library, 1377 N. Catalina Ave. Registration is not required.
