Introduction to Microsoft Word

In this course you will learn valuable word processing skills like creating, saving and retrieving documents; inserting and deleting text; formatting text; and using cut, copy and paste. Before you take this course, you should have some experience with the computer and the Windows operating system.

Video Production: Produce Video Like a Pro

CreateIT - Think IT. Make IT. Do IT. New technology and media classes for teens.

Join us for a 4-week video production class. In a fun and interactive environment we will check out a variety of ways video is used to inform, entertain and persuade the public. You will have the opportunity to shoot and edit short films that you want to make.

This class runs for four Saturdays in February, beginning February 2.

Job and Computer Help

The computer lab at Santa Rosa Library is available for job and computer help. If you have any computer questions or need assistance conducting an internet job search, writting a resume, cover letter, or need a place to fill out online applications our computer lab is available.

Ask a Master Gardener

Troubled about your tomatoes? Baffled over basil? Confounded by your creosote? Master Gardeners from the Pima County Cooperative Extension will be on hand to answer all your gardening questions. Turn your brown thumb to green by asking the experts!

Drop-In Job/Computer Help

Our computer instructors are available to provide hands-on and individual instruction on a wide variety of job help and computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online research and job searching, email accounts, Internet searching, test preparation, eBook readers, digital downloads, online school, and more.

eReader Help

Do you have an eReader or PC and are not sure how to borrow digital media from the library? Come in and learn how to use Overdrive (the library's electronic materials system). Please bring your laptop if possible.

Your Board and Fundraising: An Introductory Class for Small Nonprofits

Come learn the roles of a nonprofit board and how board members can become a vital part of your nonprofit’s fundraising efforts. You will also receive tips and strategies for creating strong board leadership and vision. Board members are especially welcome! Registration is required.
