Afordable Care Act (ACA) Assister

Donít know if you should sign up for AHCCCS or insurance? Look for the nurse in scrubs from the Pima County Health Department, he can help. He will be assisting customers signing up on the Healthcare Marketplace website created by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Laughter Yoga Club

Led by certified Laughter Yoga Leader Maurynne "Em" Maxwell.
Laughter Club is open to all adults. Participants gather to practice Laughter Yoga, a form of Mind/Body exercise created to increase the healing effects of laughter in one's life. Tai Chi for Health

A six-week exercise program focusing on balance, fall prevention, mobility, increasing muscle strength, and improving physical and mental health. This program is designed to be safe, comfortable, fun, and inspire well-being.

Need Help Getting Food? Eat Well and Stay Healthy

Learn more information about finding healthy food for your family. Find out how you can enroll in WIC and SNAP, use vouchers, discover nutritious food and make healthy choices.

This two-part program about Women, Infants, and Children Food and Nutrition Service and Supplemental Nutritious Assistance Program is presented by the Pima County Health Department in partnership with the Pima County Public Library and the National Library of Medicine.

What are WIC and SNAP and how can you enroll? Find out what foods are available and what you need to do to register. A Swahili interpreter will be provided.
