Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

Valencia Branch Library, 202 W. Valencia Rd. Registration is not required.

Homework Help

Free tutoring is available on site for all ages. Subjects include math, science, social studies and writing. Help available in Spanish, subject to availability.

Family Storytime

Family Storytime is for all ages. It is an opportunity for parents to introduce their children to reading and language in a fun way.

Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Babytime

Designed for babies up to 18 months of age. At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning.

Create Club

Do you like crafts, games, books, and other fun activities? Do you have a creative itch you just can't scratch? Maybe you're just bored on early-out Wednesdays. If you're 7 to 13, join us for Create Club and release your wild imagination. All materials supplied.

Movie Night

Join us for a fun, family flick for children ages 7 and older.

Join us every Saturday for teen-centered activities - games, snacks, art, manga, computers, and more.

Help us make decorations for the Hobbit party. Bring all your crafty skills and help us convert the large meeting room into the Shire. Hobbit snacks will be provided.
