Drawing Basics I

Express yourself in art! In this series of eight classes, discover that you can draw, and learn how to observe, which is the core of what it is to draw. This is another great art class from the Drawing Studio!

Read to a Dog

Hey Kids! Read to Homer and have fun while improving your reading skills. Therapy dogs love to have books read to them. They never criticize your reading skills and will often give you a "kiss."

Toddler Storytime

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

iTNation: Basic Music Editing

iTNation Digital Media classes are for all ages! Each week stretch your creativity and learn a fun digital media skill. You may sign up for each class individually or enroll in the entire 5 week series. Classes are taught by high school students who have successfully completed at least 24 hours of training.


In this Basic Music Editing class you'll learn how easy it is to edit music files with Audacity, free audio editing software. Make a ringtone for your cell phone or record a digital story.

Mouse skills (pointing, clicking, and dragging) and keyboard experience or completion of the Computer Basics class required. Space is limited. Registration starts October 13th. Sign up at the Himmel Park Library or call 520-594-5305.
