Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Hey kids! Read to one of the dogs and have fun while improving your reading skills! Therapy dogs love to have books read to them. They never criticize your reading skills and will often lick your hand to show appreciation. They just love to be read to by children.

Tuesday Art Talks

Presented by docents of the University of Arizona Museum of Art, in partnership with the Pima County Public Library, join us every 2nd Tuesday of the month for illustrated art talks on a variety of topics.

This month Kate Phillips presents "A Picture Worth a Thousand Words: From Caricature to the Grotesque."
Caricature, satire and grotesque describe the various levels of ridicule artists choose to present their subjects. This presentation will include the satire of the Englishman Hogarth, the black despair of the Spaniard Goya, and the social satire of contemporary American artists.
