As Goes Janesville by Brad Lichtenstein is a verité documentary that records two years in the lives of laid-off workers, business leaders, and elected officials all trying to reinvent their lives and their midwestern town amid the closure of their GM plant and America’s worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.
This event is shown in partnership with Independent Television Service Community Cinema, PBS Independent Lens, Arizona Public Media, and Pima County Public Library's Now Showing at Your Library documentary film series.

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring
At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.
Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.
