Summer Reading Celebration at the Zoo!

Are you a Summer Reader? Come to the Reid Park Zoo on Saturday, July 20 from 8-11 a.m. to celebrate summer reading!

Kids thru age 14 who have met their personal reading goals can present their invitation to receive free admission, and their guests can receive 50% off admission price.

Say hi to the animals, have your face painted, make crafts, and more! If you come early enough you might even get the chance to feed a giraffe. Have a great time celebrating books and reading at the zoo with us.

Seed Library Summer Book Club

Dig-In to a good "seed" read this summer!

You can pick-up a copy of the book at the first floor desk of the Main Library (or click on the title link to check the catalog). We'll meet in the leafy green of the Pio Decimo Community Garden to discuss our book.

We'll kick-off the Seed Library Summer Book Club with a read for all-ages, Newberry Award winner Paul Fleishman's transformative tale of a make-shift community garden in the book Seedfolks.

MangaMania!! returns for its third year, all powered up and ready to battle its nemesis: End of Summer Vacation.
