Mexican American Studies Book Club
This book club will read and discuss some of the books that were used in the TUSD Mexican American Studies program. The purpose is to demonstrate, through the reading of these works, the value they have for youth in our community. The book discussions will be facilitated by Marissa M. Juarez, PhD candidate at the University of Arizona. The books may be found at the library and at local or online booksellers.
Book Club meets every other Wednesday through August 8.
July 11: The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros
