Family Storytime (Bilingual)

Family Storytime is for all ages. It is an opportunity for parents to introduce their children to reading and language in a fun way. We will read stories, fingerplays, and songs in both English and Spanish. Storytime will be followed by a short craft activity.

Drawing Basics 1

Express yourself in art! In this series of eight classes, discover that you can draw, and learn how to observe, which is the core of what it is to draw. This is another great art class from the Drawing Studio!

Teen Valentine Drop-In Craft Event

Craft materials of all kinds will be availabe for you to use to make Valentines for friends and family. Create a "scratcher" Valentine with a special space that the receiver can scratch off to reveal a secret message. Exclusively for teens!

Free Citizenship Class in English

Now is the time to realize your dream of becoming a United States citizen. Come to this free Citizenship Class offered by Pima Community College Adult Education. Classes provide the opportunity to learn about U.S. government and history and to improve your English language skills while preparing for the Citizenship Exam.

Food Stamp Application Assistance

Let an employee from the Community Food Bank help you apply for SNAP (“food stamps” or the government nutrition assistance program), AHCCCS (health care) and TANF (cash assistance). To find out what documents that you will need, please call the Community Food Bank at 520-622-0525 extension 275.

Craft Together, Laugh Together: A Workshop for Families

Explore creative story telling by making your own artist books. These hand made books will include accordion, popup and simple book forms using drawing, painting and collage.
This is a six-week workshop presented by the Drawing Studio.
