Origami Cranes
In Japanese culture, paper cranes represent happiness, longevity, and eternal youth because of its life span of a thousand years. They also stand for peace and healing. Come join the Pima County Public Libraries as we make 1,000 paper cranes to send to the C.H. Booth Public Library in Newtown, CT. Drop-in crane-making is also available at Murphy-Wilmot and Main Library.

Digital Media Mini Camp
CreateIT - Think it. Make it. Do it. New technology and media classes for teens.
Join us for a three-day Digital Media Mini Camp with iTNation. Each day stretch your creativity and learn new digital media skills, including photo and video editing, sound production and scratch animation. Classes are taught by high school students who have successfully completed 30 hours of training with the iTNation intern program.
This is a three-day class beginning on January 2 and continuing through January 4. These classes are designed for Middle and High School students.

Linoprinting 101: Create Social Justice Posters
CreateIT! Although linoleum as a floor covering dates to the 1860s, the linocut printing technique was used first by artists between 1905-1913. We will talk about the history of social justice posters and teach youth how to make their own lino prints. We will then have a pop-up gallery show, displaying the works!
