Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint is a software program for creating and showing presentations that include slides, outlines, speaker's notes and audience handouts. In this course designed for beginners, you will learn the fundamentals of PowerPoint. Practice using text, pictures and clip art, and then edit your presentation to make it look professional.
General knowledge of the Windows operating system and some knowledge of Microsoft Word are recommended prerequisites.

Practice your English conversation skills with trained, volunteer tutors from Literacy Volunteers of Tucson. Classes may include some reading and writing to stimulate discussion. Happiness and Love: What did they mean in the Middle Ages?

Popular speaker and Distinguished Professor Albrecht Classen (as seen on PBS) presents insights into the discussion of true happiness as developed by late antique and medieval philosophers and writers, which promise to illuminate us today more than most people might expect.

Nanini Branch Library invites you to come read to a dog! Certified therapy dogs love to come to the library to listen to young readers.

Reading to a dog gives children a chance to improve their reading skills in a relaxed, comfortable environment with a non-judgmental listener.

Preschool Storytime

Preschool Storytime is for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents. Activities help children learn colors, numbers, and letters. This program is 30 to 45 minutes. Children must be able to sit for longer periods than during Toddler Storytime.
