All interested teens are welcome to meet the first Thursday each month at Woods Memorial Library. Share your ideas and input for the library and be an advocate for your community.
Join us for a fun program 2:30-3:30 pm followed by a TAB meeting from 3:30-4:00 pm.

Read to a Dog
Hey kids! Read to one of the dogs and have fun while improving your reading skills! Therapy dogs love to have books read to them. They never criticize your reading skills and will often lick your hand to show appreciation. They just love to be read to by children.

Word Journeys Workshop Series
Word Journeys children's book author Marge Pellegrino and teen mentors will present this series of five free workshops beginning in October. In this series, elementary and middle school students will discover the excitement of developing their own voices through writing and art activities.
In 2008, Word Journeys was awarded the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities Coming Up Taller award for excellence in afterschool education.
