Bilingual Family Storytime / Hora de Cuentos Familiar Bilingüe

Se presenta en español y en inglés. La hora de cuentos familiar bilingüe es una experiencia educativa en los dos idiomas para niños bilingües y monolingües de todas edades.

Presented in Spanish and English. Bilingual family storytime is a learning experience in both languages for bilingual and monolingual children of all ages.

Color Basics

Create stunning artwork with artists from the Drawing Studio's OATS program. Instructors in this 6-part series of classes will emphasize that the practice of art is a lifelong exploration. Through doing a series of simple, fun exercises, you will learn the basics of color mixing, how colors work together to create color harmonies, and how to use color for self-expression. This program is presented courtesy of the Friends of the Pima County Library. All supplies are provided at no cost.

Class size is limited. Registration is required prior to the first class. Please call 594-5420 beginning September 13 to register for these classes. You must be available for all six classes.

Advanced English Language Conversation Class / Clases de Conversación de Inglés avanzadas

Practice your English conversation skills with trained, volunteer tutors from Literacy Volunteers of Tucson, a program of Literacy Connects. Classes may include some reading and writing to stimulate discussion. Call 594-5420 to inquire.

Parents, please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own childcare arrangements for children under the age of 8.
