Drop-in Job Help

Our computer instructor is available to answer any questions you might have on a wide variety of computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online job searching, email accounts, Internet searching and more. Signup is not required.

Individual Job Counseling

A job counselor from Career Services Unlimited will provide free, one-on-one career counseling on topics including resume writing, choosing a career, updating your interviewing, networking and job search skills, and more.

Walk-ins are welcome. No appointment is necessary, but sessions are limited to 30 minutes. For more information, please call Infoline at 791-4010.

Reading Partners

Reading Partners brings adult volunteers and children together to share their love of reading. Our trained Reading Partner Anita takes joy in reading stories one-on-one to your child during your visit to the library. They also welcome your child reading to them.

Reading Partners is generously supported by the Friends of the Pima County Public Library.

Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

CreateIT - Think IT. Make IT. Do IT. New technology and media classes for teens.

Create art and games with the beginner-friendly programming language Python. Python is clear and easy to read, letting you get started quickly with this powerful tool.

This is a four-week class (September 5, 12, 19, 26) taught in partnership with the UA Computer Science Department. If you want to join the class after September 5, please contact the library at 520-594-5562.
