iTNation: Internet Savvy

iTNation Digital Media classes are for all ages! Each week stretch your creativity and learn a fun digital media skill. You may sign up for each class individually or enroll in the entire 5 week series. Classes are taught by high school students who have successfully completed at least 24 hours of training.

In the Internet Savvy class we'll give you tips on identifying online scams and test your Internet savvy. Also, learn about some cool websites.

Introduction to Microsfoft Word

In this course you will learn valuable word processing skills like creating, saving and retrieving documents; inserting and deleting text; formatting text; and using cut, copy and paste. Before you take this course, you should have some experience with the computer and the Windows operating system.

Intermediate Internet

For those who want to build on their search skills, including job databases and more, we teach you more about Boolean search language(what our libary catalog and many job sites use) and other neat tricks. This comes the week after Introduction to the Internet and gives you more practice time.

Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.
