Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler Storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Introduction to the Internet
Demystify the Internet! Learn how to navigate the Internet and use email to keep in touch with your friends and family. Not a lecture, this class is all hands-on learning with a high-speed Internet connection. You will open your own free email account to send and receive email with friends and relatives.
Before taking this course, you should know basic computer skills like how to use a mouse and keyboard, how to turn the computer on and off and a general understanding of the Windows operating system.

Join us as we create Baleros, the ball & cup game, and "God’s Eye" or "Ojo de Dios." Decorate the Balero cup with paint or create your own Ojos de Dios, a fascinating Huichol cultural artifact, using wooden sticks and brightly colored yarn. All supplies furnished by the library.
For children 5 and up.
This event is made possible by Nuestra Raíces, a celebration of Mexican-American authors, arts and culture.

Hey kids! Read to a therapy dog and have fun while improving your reading skills! The dog loves to have books read to it. It never criticizes your reading skills and will often lick your hand to show her appreciation. It just loves to be read to by children.

Systematic Training for Effective Parenting: Parenting young children (two to six)
Curriculum-based Parenting Classes are six weeks. Establish healthy relationship patterns right from the beginning with young children. Topics include: Understanding young children, understanding young children’s behavior, building self-esteem in the early years, listening and talking to your child, helping young children learn to cooperate, discipline for young children and young children’s emotional and social development.
No class on 1/21/13 & 2/18/13.
