Job and Computer Help

The computer lab at Santa Rosa Library is available for job and computer help. If you have any computer questions or need assistance conducting an internet job search, writting a resume, cover letter, or need a place to fill out online applications our computer lab is available.

Computer Help at Himmel

A computer monitor is available to answer any questions you might have on a wide variety of computer topics. Topics include basic internet and computer use, basic Microsoft Office Suite, using library resources, and downloading digital material (ebooks, music, and more).

Looking at Windows

Refresh the skills you need to work with the Windows operating system or just learn some helpful things about Windows. In this course, you will learn skills that are useful for beginning computer users including resizing and manipulating Windows, changing the mouse properties, using toolbars, rearranging the Desktop and getting support online.

Yoga Classes

Topics include resume writing, online research and job searching, email accounts, Internet searching, test preparation, eBook readers, digital downloads, online school, and more.

Introduction to Microsoft Word

Create letters, memos, forms, and letters. Learn to edit, format text, use spell check and insert graphics. Prerequisite: Mouse and keyboard skills or completion of the Computer Basics class.

Personal Digital Download and Computer Help

If you a seeking a little more time on computer class practice, need some Digital Download help and just need a little one-on-one computer help, come during these times. We will be able to offer a maximum of 20 minutes per participant.

Mommy and Me Tai Chi

Safe, comfortable space for parents and caregivers to engage in mind-body exercise to relax, rejuvenate, refresh, and have fun while the children participate at their own level (including doing their own thing) in the peaceful space we create. Make new friends while learning how to nurture yourself and then others.
