Jonathan W. Martinez Acoustic Guitar Concert

You are invited to this special musical event!

Jonathan W. Martinez will tell you that "humble beginnings and innovative thought processes" have been what propelled him to become the virtuoso guitarist he is today. His unique style of utilizing harmonics, looping, multiple capos, lightning fast picking, tapping, guitar percussion has been called simply "raw acoustic goodness" by fans. With that in mind, his performances are more than just a listening experience; they are a visual artwork that intrigues audiences from all walks of life, leaving them wondering how all this can be accomplished on one acoustic guitar.

Jonathan has shared the stage with "Radical Classical" sensation, Jocelyn Celaya and "Acoustic Ninja" Trace Bundy, both whom use a similar approach to guitar as his own. In addition to performing, Jonathan is an undergraduate at the University of Arizona, concentrating on Latin American Studies and Music- Guitar Instrumental Studies.
